Answer: stretch when your muscles are already warm

don't rush through a stretching routine.

slowly ease into position and hold stretch smoothly in order to adequately release tension

breath normally through stretch

stretch each major muscle group together in full range of motion

Explanation: warmth provides stretch with east, cold stretching causes more strain and possible injury

oxygen is delivered to the muscles during proper breathing technique
