The gene for wing shape in fruit flies has two alleles; P codes for oval-shaped wings and p codes for heart-shaped wings. P is completely dominant over p. A second gene codes for the presence or absence of wings; W codes for the presence wings and is completely dominant over w which codes for the absence of wings. These two genes interact to determine wing phenotype. Which of the following genotypes would result in an individual with heart-shaped wings?

A. Ppww
B. ppww
C. ppWw
D. PPWw

c, because to get a gene with heart wings they have to have a (p) since its recessive there has to be 2, since you need a gene for wings (W) you need atleast one (W) since its dominant it only needs one.

hope this helps!
