It would be 12.
So first you have to find a common denominator between 1/3 and 1/2 which is 6
So subtract 2/6 from 3/6 which is 1/6.
So 1/6 of the gas tank is equal to 2 gallons so you multiply 2 by 6 which is 12 and that is your answer.
