Individuals should keep exotic pets instead of wild animal. If you found a wild wolf or fox maybe even a bunny and took it home they would not be able to adapt to your home. While exotic animals can but should have plenty of "free" time.
Individuals should not have wild animals as pets. The reason why is because wild animals are use to being free and having no limits. If you put them in a cage they will live an unhappy life. If the animal wants to go out the only place it can go is in the backyard which is not enough space for them.
Exotic animals would make good pets for individuals but they need proper care. They need to be free for quite some time because if you keep them locked up for 14 hours or more a day they wont enjoy their life. Exotic animals don't need to be walked but at least once in a while. Exotic animals need to be socialized with people also.
Exotic pets are good pets but just need to be taken care of while wild animals need to be in their natural habitat. They need to be where they belong and be themselves. which is why individuals should have Exotic pets rather than wild animals.
