-2x+5y=-1
4x-2y=-6

-2(-2)=4
5(-1)=-5
4-5=-1

4(-2)=-8
-2(-1)=2
-8+2=-6

It becomes; -2 (-2) + 5(-1)

= 4 -5

Substitute x = -2; y = -1

The equation becomes:

4(-2) - 2(-1)

= -8 +2

= -6 (SATISFIED)

IT THEREFORE MEANS THAT (-2. -1) IS A SOLUTION TO THE SYSTEM.
