How can exposure to violence affect children?

Martin is a 6-year-old with little supervision. He enjoys playing his older brother's violent video games and frequently watches R-rated movies. Due to his exposure to violence, as a child he may and as an adult he may "Suffer academically", "form close relationships of trust", or "benefit from early exposure" and as an adult he may "become resilient" or "become aggressive and violent himself"

Suffer academically as a child can and as an adult become resilient

Step-by-step explanation:

When children are exposed to violence they develop various behavioral problems . They start thinking that violence is the acceptable behavior and they either become the abuser or the abused.

When a child is exposed to violence they get affected emotionally , physically as well as psychologically.

In case of Martin he enjoys playing with the video games of his older brother those are violent in nature as well as he sees R- rated moviesand thus he is affected due to violence, he starts suffering academically and as an adult aggressive behavior will develop in himself .
