Answer: Yes psychotherapy is effective in treating psychological disorders especially when combined with medication

Step-by-step explanation:

Research in science as shown that with an effective therapist, psychotherapy is effective in treating psychological disorder even when compared to using drugs or medications alone

It is a well known fact that the use of psychotherapy is more cost effective, but aside that adopting psychotherapy results in fewer cases of relapses (a deteriorating condition after a period of improvement), it also helps to reduce depression when compared to the use of medication alone.

Combining both also improves both short and long time recovery rate and faster responses.

In fact it is said to even improve the rate at which patients complies to medication.

Answer:Psychological therapies are effective across all ages

Explanation:

Psychological therapies works for everyone at every setting and there is no allergic reaction to it or side effects because it aims at actual attacking the psychological issues by walking with the person step by step dealing with the core issue through therapy, and even unveiling things that may be the actual underlying factors, rather than treating the symptoms it attacks the major cause which will in a long run result to a person being mental healthy and able to copy with those issues without falling back to the same issue again.

Medication may treat just the symptoms but it doesn't tackle that actual causes of those symptoms but psychotherapy attacks the cause and aims to eliminate it permanently slowly but surely.
