Because it’s included the $114.10 would be equal to 120%
You would divide by 12 to find 10%
Which is $9.51 and times this by 10 to find 100% which is $95.10
Then take $114.10 away from $95.10 and you get $19
The servers tip was $19

Answer:

$19.01 I think

Explanation:

you have to divide the total price by 120 because the family is paying what the food cost...the 100% and then they add 20% of that 100% to make 120%...therefore...when you divide the price by 120 you'll get 1%. Finally you multiply the 1% by 20 to find the tip.

$114.10 ÷ 120 = 0.95 × 20 = the tip ( $19.01 )

I'm sorry if that doesn't make sense
