Good morning,☕️

Answer:

n = 10

Explanation:

(Un) is defined by 2, 0, -2, -4, -6, ... ———> U1=2 and r= -2

(Vn) is defined by -22, -20, -18, -16, -14, ...———> V1=-22 and r’=2

Un = U1 + (n-1)r = 2 + (n-1)(-2) = -2n+4

Vn = V1 + (n-1)r’ = -22 +(n-1)(2) = 2n-24

_____

The nth term of the sequence 2, 0, -2, -4, -6, ... is 4 times the nth term of the

sequence -22, -20, -18, -16, -14, ... Means Un=4Vn

_____

Un=4Vn

⇔ -2n+4 = 4(2n-24)

⇔ 10n = 100

⇔ n = 10.

:)
