A 6.5 N force is applied to a 9.7 kg mass. What is the acceleration of the mass? (If needed, round to the nearest thousandths and answer using m/s^2)

Answer:

Force = 6.5 N

Mass = 9.7 kg

F = ma

6.5 = 9.7 x a

a = 6.5/9.7

a = 0.67 m/s^2

Hope this helps!

Answer: 0.67 m/s²

Explanation: Acceleration is under Newton's Law is F=ma. So we derive to have a=F/m

6.5N / 9.7 kg = 0.67 m/s²
