5x+2,x=7 can u explain this to me

So basically x is equal to 7. That means that you need to plug 7 in for x. It should look like this: 5(7) +2. You can then plug that into your calculator in order to get 37!

You have to substitute the x so since x=7 you have to do 5x7 which is 35 then you add the 2 making 37. Just tell me if you have any questions
