How does the behavior of the merchant’s wife at the end of “All for a Paisa” help convey the theme that neither assistance from others nor personal experiences can teach wisdom to a fool?

When she at last gives up on her son, readers understand that the merchant’s son will never gain any intelligence.

When she insists that he be given one more chance, readers understand that she is responsible for her son’s foolishness.

When she finally realizes why her son has been missing, readers understand that her foolish suggestion is what placed him in danger.

When she supports her son no matter what, readers understand that she is just as much of a fool as he.

When she at last gives up on her son, readers understand that the merchant’s son will never gain any intelligence.

Step-by-step explanation: “All for a Paisa” - It's a riddle story for kids

A very prosperous merchant lived in the valley who could not satisfy the only son at all. The child had no symptoms, much less a desire to work, for intellect or imagination. The mother however still thought of it as possible and excused him endlessly.

When the lad reached the age of marriage, his mother asked the trader to find him a bride. But the merchant was too dissatisfied with his lazy son and had agreed never to marry him in his own eyes. But this was the mother's side. For many years it was the only thing she had wished after. It would be impossible to keep her son a bachelor all his life. For a moment she just wouldn't accept.

She was very delighted when the merchant's wife saw her son's smartness.

"See," the boy said to her friend, "this is the work of our mother," said the child, "the iron father's daughter told me to do this." That is our son's work.

The two parents were delighted to see the two young people flourishing with love. Thus the Ironsmith's daughter married the merchant's son and the lad became a hard working youthful husband.
