20% of the players on a hockey team are Canadian. If there are 35 players on the team, how many are Canadian?

In maths most of the time especially in percentages, of means x(multiply).

And also what does percentage actually mean? In means out of 100.SO if it is 50% then it means 50÷100,if it is 37% it means 37÷100.

So using both of what I said., it will be easy.

20÷100 x 35=7
