The pool is in circular shape with a radius of 5 yards. and the park is in a square shape with dimensions 30 yd. by 30 yds.

Now, the area of the park which is covered with grass will be equal to the area of the park minus the area of the pool.

Hence, the area of the ground in the park that is covered with grass will be

= (30 × 30) - πr²

=
900 - (22 * 5^(2))/(7)

= 900 - 78.57
