Answer:

If each of them buy an individual 10 inch pizza then each friend will eat more pizza.

Explanation:

Solution:

Paola thinks they should each order an individual 10 inch pizza.

Diameter of 10 -inch pizza = 10 inch

We will find the radius first;

radius is half of diameter.

radius =
(10)/(2) =5\ inch

Since Pizza are in Circular shape we will find the Area of the circle.

Area of pizza is equal to π times square of the radius.

framing in equation form we get;

Area of pizza =
\pi r^2 = \pi * 5^2 = 78.54\ in^2

Hence According to Paola if they each order 10 inch pizza then each will have
78.54\ in^2 of Pizza

Beka says they should split 14 inch pizza.

Diameter of 14 -inch pizza = 14 inch

We will find the radius first;

radius is half of diameter.

radius =
(14)/(2) =7\ inch

Since Pizza are in Circular shape we will find the Area of the circle.

Area of pizza is equal to π times square of the radius.

framing in equation form we get;

Area of pizza =
\pi r^2 = \pi * 7^2 = 153.99\ in^2

Now If they Split the pizza in 2 people.

Then each can have =
(153.99)/(2) = 77\ in^2

Hence According to Beka if they split 14 inch pizza then each will have
77\ in^2 of Pizza.

From Above 2 conditions we can say that.

if they each order 10 inch pizza then each will 1.54 square inch more than if they split 14 inch pizza.

Hence If each of them buy an individual 10 inch pizza then each friend will eat more pizza.
