y=1/4x+4

Explanation:

to find the slope use (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

(5-6)/(4-8)= 1/4

1/4 is your slope

to find the b in y=mx+b, plug in 1/4 for m and choose one of the points to plug in for x and y

I will use (4, 5)

5=1/4(4)+b

5=1+b

4=b

the final equation in y=1/4x+4
