at a company, 60% of the employees have two or more children. There are 150 employees that have fewer than two children. How many employees does the company have? I really need an answer asap! :(

If 60% as two of more children, then percentage of people with less than two will be 100% - 60% = 40%

Let y represent the total no. Of people in the company. Then

40% of y = 150.

40/100 × y = 150

40y/100 = 150

Cross multiply

40y = 150 × 100

40y = 15000

y = 15000/40

y = 375

Total number of people in the company is 375people
