21= 1/4 x

28=1/3 x

What does x equal in both these equations...x has to equal THE SAME number in both equations!

Example:

45 divided by 6 equals 7
60 divided by 8 equals 7



Please please please help!!!!!!!!! I’m not good with fractions

Answer:

x = 84

Explanation:

21 = 1/4x ....multiply both sides by 4

4 * 21 = (1/4 * 4/1)x

84 = 1x or just 84 = x

28 = 1/3x...multiply both sides by 3

3 * 28 = (1/3 * 3/1)x

84 = 1x or just 84 = x
