He saved $45 because for every $13 he loses $4, so that means that since he made $65, which is 5 times greater than $13, he lost 5 times 4, which would be 65-20=45

Answer: the amount of money that he saved is $45

Explanation:

Rob is saving to buy a new MP3 player. For every $13 he earns babysitting,he saves $9. Assuming he earns $x in a week, then the amount of money that he saves would be

9 × x/13 = 9x/13

On Saturday,rob earned $65 babysitting. It means that x = 65

Therefore, the amount of money that he saved would be

(9 × 65)/13 = 585/13 = $45
