Answer:

y=5/2x-2

Explanation:

grab 2 points in this case (0,-2) and (2,3)

use rise over run formula so it rises 5 and goes over 2

so 5/2 is the slope

and the y intercept is -2 because thats when the slope touches the y line

so using the equation y=mx+b when m is slope and b is y interecept

and since the y interecept is negative replace the plus sign with a minus

the answer should be y=5/2x-2

Answer:

y=(5)/(2) x-2\\

Explanation:

y-intersect Point: (0,-2)

Substitute the values of the y-intercept point:

y=mx+b\\
-2=m*0+b\\

b=-2

Another point: (2,3)

substitute the values of the point:

y=m*x-2\\3=m*2-2\\5=2m\\m=(5)/(2\\)

So the slope-intercept form of equation of the line is:

y=(5)/(2)x-2\\
