A car goes around a flat curve of radius 50 m at a speed of 14 m/s. What must be the minimum coefficient of friction between the tires and the road for the car to make the turn?

We have to find the coefficient of friction

For maximum turn frictional force must be equal to centripetal force

So
\mu mg=(mv^2)/(r)


\mu=(v^2)/(rg)=(14^2)/(50* 9.8)=0.4

So coefficient of friction will be 0.4
