(x-3)(x+4)-18 = x(x+4) -3(x+4) -18\\=x^2 + 4x-3x-12-18\\=x^2+x-30\\=x^2 +6x-5x-30\\=x(x+6)-5(x+6)\\=(x+6)(x-5)\\\implies (x-3)(x+4)-18 = (x+6)(x-5)

So,the given polynomial P(x) can also be written as (x+6)(x-5)
