8x8= 64

Raising a number to a power means multiplying that number times it’s self that amount of times.

2 to the second would be 4 because 2x2 is 4. However, if it were 2 to the 3rd power, it would be 8, not 6 because 2x2x2=8. DO NOT MULTIPLY THE NUMBER TIMES THE EXPONENT!
