NEED HELP ASAP......

If the mass of the egg is 60 grams (0.06 Kg), and the mass of your device is 0.5 Kg, calculate the Force of Gravity on your device with the egg included. [F = m*a, acceleration from gravity is 9.8 m/s2]

The Force of Gravity on the device when the egg is placed on it will be 5.488N.

Step-by-step explanation:

Since we all know that the force of gravity on any object can be calculated with the standard formula of Newton’s second law,

\text { Force }=m * a

Where,

F = Force of gravity

M = Mass of the object

a = Acceleration in the velocity of the object by applying the force

Here, in this case; we are required to consider the acceleration due to gravity i.e.
9.8 m / s^(2)

Now, we need to place the egg on our device whose weights are 60 grams (0.06 Kg) and 0.5 Kg, respectively and calculate the force of gravity on the device along with the egg.

By placing all the given values in the formula for Newton’s second law of motion, we get;

\text { Force }=(m+M) * a

Where,

Combined mass = m + M

Combined mass = mass of egg + mass of device

Combined mass = 0.06 + 0.5 = 0.56 kg

Therefore,

Force = 0.56 (9.8) = 5.488 N
