Private relief agencies distributed free food to those in need.

Federal government organised public construction projects.

State government organised voluntarism and other indirect relief efforts.

Step-by-step explanation:

Great depression was the time of 1930s when there was low level of growth in the economy, with low level of production, low level of employment opportunities for the people of the economy and so on.

During this time period, there were relief efforts which were organised by the federal, state government. Even the private agencies did some efforts to organize relief camps to help the economy come out of depression and grow in terms of production and development. The relief camps included construction projects, distribution of free food to the people in need and many others.
