The solution of given problem 1.5 [ 3( 14.5 +7 ) -3 ] - 7.4 is 84.85

Solution:

Given problem is:

1.5 [ 3( 14.5 +7 ) -3 ] - 7.4

We have to use BODMAS rule to solve the problem

According to Bodmas rule, if an expression contains brackets ((), {}, []) we have to first solve or simplify the bracket followed by of (powers and roots etc.), then division, multiplication, addition and subtraction from left to right

Thus in the given problem, first we have to solve for brackets

Add 14.5 and 7 inside the brackets

\rightarrow 1.5 [ 3( 14.5 +7 ) -3 ] - 7.4\\\\\rightarrow 1.5 [ 3(21.5) - 3 ] - 7.4

Multiply 3 with 21.5

\rightarrow 1.5[64.5-3] - 7.4

Now again solve for brackets by subtracting 3 from 64.5

\rightarrow 1.5 * 61.5 - 7.4

Now perform multiplication of 1.5 and 61.5

\rightarrow 92.25 - 7.4

Now perform subtraction

\rightarrow 92.25 - 7.4 = 84.85

Thus the solution of given problem is 84.85
