To answer 7x + 3 - 2x you would first have to substitute x with 8.
7(8) + 3 - 2(8) =
Then you’d follow through and correctly use BEDMAS/PEDMAS to complete the equation.
7(8) + 3 - 2(8)=
56 + 3 - 16=
59 - 16=
= 43
