Is it possible to predict physical or chemical changes? I don't really understand how to predict a change from the information my science teacher is giving me. The textbooks say what physical and chemical changes are but not how that means we can predict them.

Answer:

Yes, it is possible to predict physical or chemical change.

Step-by-step explanation:

Physical change -there is a difference in the appearance(shape, color, texture), or simple display of a sample of matter without a change in composition(what it is made of)

Chemical change- When bonds are broken and new ones are formed a chemical change occurs.

for example- When two or more reactants are mixed and a change in temperature, color, etc. is noticed, it is a chemical change.

BUT changing a color of a car for example is not chemical but physical because you are not messing or changing the inside.
