2 because

Gradient or slope of a line is

(Change in y)/(Change in x) = 2/1 = 2

Every 1 unit change of x, results in 2 units change of y.

Answer:

D) 2

Explanation:

If we look at the graph we can see that it has the points :

(0,1) and (1,3)

Since it's a linear equation the slope is the same throughout the graph so we can evaluate the slope from these 2 points.

The formula fro calculating slope is rise/run

In other words,
(y_(2)-y_(1) )/(x_(2)- x_(1))

Where x1 = 0, x2 = 1, y1 = 1, y2 = 3

So slope =
(3 - 1)/(1-0) = (2)/(1) =2

So the answer is 2
