1791- 1st Amendment- This Amendment establishes our 5 major rights as citizens; Rights to Religion, Speech, Press, Assembly, and Petition.

1791- 2nd Amendment- This Amendment affords us our right to bear arms and form militia.

1791- 4th Amendment- This Amendment protects us from illicit search and seizure of our property.

1791- 5th Amendment- Affords us our court rights and prevents us from unnecessary court procedures and allows us due process.

1971- 7th Amendment- This Amendment gives us the right to a trial by jury. This prevents criminals from unlawful convictions and bias in court.

1791- 8th Amendment- Gives us protection from from excessive bail and cruel and unusual punishment.

1791- 9th Amendments- Prevents the creation of laws that jeopardize other rights of citizens.

1865- 13th Amendment- This Amendment Abolished slavery and made it unlawful to own another human being.

1868- 14th Amendment- Ensures all citizens have equal rights and that the state cannot infringe upon these rights.

1870- 15th Amendment- This Amendment provides all male citizens the right to vote, regardless of race or color.

1920- 19th Amendment- Affords all women the Constitutional right the vote.

1933- 21st Amendment- This Amendment repeals prohibition and makes it lawful, for those of legal age, to drink.

1951- 22nd Amendment- The presidential term limit is set at two. This prevents a president from monopolizing the executive seat.

1964- 24th Amendment- This Amendment abolishes all poll tax requirements. This makes it fair for citizens all all economic standings to vote.

1971- 26th Amendment- This lowers the voting age to 18, giving younger people a voice in our voting process.
