Present and contrast at leat 2 different methods of finding the volume of a cylinder with height h and radius r.

Volume V= πr²h

Volume V= base * height

Explanation:

Volume is the capacity of an object which is obtained by multiplying area with height. Volume of a cylinder is generally calculated by two formulas.

Volume of a cylinder V= πr²h Where r is the radius and h is the height

Volume of a cylinder V= base * height

If we analyse the two formula keeping in mind that the base of the cylinder is circular . The area of a circle is given by πr². In this first formula we can find the area of the base by applying the formula of the circular region. Volume is measured by multiplying length , breadth and height, or area with height. In both the formulas given above we find the area and then multiply with the height.
