PLEASE I NEED HELP WITH THIS QUICK!!!!! 80 points!!

I am a wanna-be photographer. I have 3 photos of my darling little grands. It was late when I ordered prints. I ordered weird sizes (8” x 12”). I have not been able to find frames that I like for these 3 photos. So, I’ve decided to make them. I love using barn wood. And, I have a lot of it at my disposal. The pieces I found are 3” wide. what should the length of each slate be?

questions continueing on

1. What will the total perimeter for each picture frame be?
a 124"
b 48"
c 24"
d 64"

Answer:

The slate it 14" by 18"

1. 64

2. 192

Explanation:

When you add 14 plus 14 you get 28 then add both of your 18 together and you get 36 then add 28 plus 36 and you get 64. 64 times 3 is 192

1. Add 3 inches to each side, so a total of 6 inches on the height and 6 inches on the width

8 +6 = 14

12 + 6 = 18

Perimeter = 14 + 14 + 18 + 18 = 64 inches.

2. Multiply the perimeter from above by 3:

64 x 3 = 192 inches.
