1- 3 (4 - 3) + (27- 2 x 3)

Do what is in parenthesis first.

(4 - 3) = 1

(27 - 2 * 3) = (27 - 6) = 21

Now the equation looks like this:

1 - 3 (1) + (21) =

1 - 3 + 21 =
