4y = -5x + 6

y = -5/4x + 24......slope here is -5/4 and y int is 24

10x - 2y = 7

-2y = -10x + 7

y = 5x - 7/2.....slope here is 5 and y int is -7/2

if the slopes and the y int's are different, which they are, then there is 1 solution
