Answer:

Explanation:

(-4,-23) , (-2,-11)

slope = (-11 - (-23) / (-2 - (-4) = (-11 +23) / (-2 + 4) = 12/2 = 6

y = mx + b

slope(m) = 6

(-4,-23)...x = -4 and y = -23

now we sub and find b, the y int

-23 = 6(-4) + b

-23 = -24 + b

-23 + 24 = b

1 = b

so ur equation is : y = 6x + 1....with ur slope being 6 and ur y int being 1 or (0,1)

** just so you know, instead of working out the y= mx + b and finding ur y int, u could have just looked at ur points...ur y int is when x = 0...and u have a point (0,1)....meaning ur x is 0....making 1 ur y int.
