Answer:

A( 3 ,(-1)/(2)).........Purple color point in graph

x=3............Red color Line

y=(-1)/(2) .......Blue color line

Explanation:

Given:

x=3

y=(-1)/(2)

To Solve:

Graphically

Solution:

we know x = a is a Line Parallel to Y-axis and x-coordinate will be always a throughout the line.

Therefore,

x=3 is a line parallel to Y-axis and x-coordinate will be always 3 throughout the line.

Similarly,

we know y = b is a Line Parallel to X-axis and y-coordinate will be always b throughout the line.

Therefore,

y=(-1)/(2) is a line parallel to X-axis and y-coordinate will be always -1/2 throughout the line.

Now both the line will intersect on a Point say A(3, -1/2) as shown in the Graph below

A( 3 ,(-1)/(2)).........Purple color point in graph

x=3............Red color Line

y=(-1)/(2) .......Blue color line
