Y+1=3x

Rearranging

y = 3x - 1....(1)

and

2y=6x-2

Dividing through by 2

y = 3x -1 ....(2)

(1) and (2) are the same so they have same slope and intercept

Comparing with y = mx + c

Slope m = 3 and intercept c = -1
