Two statements are given- one labeled Assertion (A) and the

other labeled Reason (R). Select the correct answer to these questions from the codes (i), (ii), (iii) and (iv) as given below
i) Both A and R are true and R is correct explanation of the assertion.
ii) Both A and R are true but R is not the correct explanation of the assertion.
iii) A is true but R is false.
iv) A is false but R is true.

Both the assertion and reasoning are true and the reason correctly explains the assertion.

Option i.

Step-by-step explanation:

Structural isomers are the different compounds that are actually same mother molecule but with different structure. This gives the same compound with different physical and chemical properties. The structural isomers can even make an isomer solid and another isomer liquid at a particular temperature.

The structures that are given here, the first structure is a n butane, and the second structure is of a 1 methyl propane,or also called as isobutane.

Both the compounds are having same molecular formula of C4H10. But they do have different numbers of primary, secondary and tertiary carbon atoms due to differences in structures.
