Answer:

Therefore the Final Solution is

x = 1\\ and\\ y = -3

Explanation:

Given:

4x-2y=10 ...............Equation ( 1 )

y=-2x-1 ................Equation ( 2 )

To Find:

x = ?

y = ?

Solution:

Substituting Equation ( 2 ) in Equation ( 1 ) we get

4x-2(-2x-1)=10\\4x+4x+2=10\\8x=8\\x=(8)/(8)=1\\\\\therefore x =1

Now Substituting x = 1 in Equation ( 2 ) we get

y=-2(1)-1=-2-1=-3\\\therefore y=-3

Therefore the Final Solution is

x = 1\\ and\\ y = -3
