Explanation: The great Awakening was a revival that took place in around the 18th century among English speaking Americans. It was a season when the Christian ministers took it upon themselves to revive Americans by preaching from place to place in order to bring people back to God, periods Preceeding the great Awakening where filled with secular ideology, Americans lost faith in God. John Carbon, Jonathan Edwards,Georger Whitefield and other Christian leaders led the great Awakening.
