Over the course of three weeks, Nesim measured the size of a wildflower patch that is growing in his yard. In the first week, the wildflower patch measured x inches long and 0.5x inches wide. In the second week, the flower patch grew 3 inches longer and 2 inches wider. In the third week, the flower patch was double the size that it was in the second week.
