The right triangle has another one angle of 45°.

Therefore, the angles of the right triangle are 90°-45°-45°.

Hence, it is an isosceles right triangle.

Then, the legs of the right angle are equal to be 10.

So, x = 10

Now, the length of the hypotenuse is given by Pythagoras Theorem i.e.

(Hypotenuse)² = 10² + 10²

⇒ y² = 200

y = 10√2

Therefore, x = 10 and y = 10√2. (Answer)
