Answer:

The true solution of given polynomial is 1.732 , - 1.732

Explanation:

Given polynomial as :

(x^(2) )/(2 x - 6) =
(9)/(6 x - 18)

Or,
(x^(2) )/(2 (x - 3)) =
(9)/(6 (x - 3))

Or,
(x^(2) )/(2 (x - 3)) =
(3)/(2 (x - 3))

Taking away 2 as common from denominator of both side

So,
(x^(2) )/((x - 3)) =
(3)/((x - 3))

Now, cross multiplying both side

Or, x² × (x - 3) = 3 × (x - 3)

Or,
(x^(2) )/(3) =
((x -3))/((x - 3))

Or,
(x^(2) )/(3) = 1

∴ x² = 3

i.e x =
\pm √(3)

Or, x = 1.732 , and x = - 1.732

So, The value of x = 1.732 , - 1.732

Hence, The true solution of given polynomial is 1.732 , - 1.732 Answer
