3x+2y=8
5x-2y=8
1) Cross out the 2ys and add the rest of the equations together.
2) 8x=16
3) 16/8=2 Therefore, x=2
4) Add 2 into one of the equations (either one)
5)3(2)+ 2y=8
6) 6+2y= 8
7) Subtractionnnnn 8-6=2
8) 2y=2
9) 2/2= 1
10) y=1 x=2 (2,1)
