Given as :

The figure is the combination of isosceles triangle and equilateral triangle

And m∠2 = x + 59°

From the property of isosceles triangle

Any two adjacent sides are equal , and angle opposite to adjacent sides are equal

Again , from property of equilateral triangle

All three sides are equal and all three angle are 60° each .

∵ one angle of equilateral triangle is ∠2

So, from the property of equilateral triangle , m∠2 = 60°

Since m∠2 = x + 59°

So, 60° = x + 59°

∴ x = 60° - 59°

i.e x = 1°

So, The value of x = 1°

Hence, The value of x is 1° . Answer
