kelly is older than Michael and receives a larger monthly allowance from their parents. Kellys allowance decreases from $60 to $50. Michael allowance decreases from $20 to $10 . Michael says this is unfair. is Michael correct or incorrect and explain why

Michael is correct because although his parents removed the same amount of money from each person’s allowance, removing 10 dollars from Kelly’s allowance is 1/6 of the original amount of money whereas taking 10 dollars from Michael is taking away half of his original allowance.
