When I solve it I get a fraction and I don’t think I’m supposed to.

Can someone please explain?

Explanation:

in the triangle, side opposite to angle 2 and 70° are equal. so the angles 2 and 70° are equal.

angle 2 is therefore 70°

angle 2 = 70°x (given)

70°= 70°x

x = 70°/70°

= 1
