Since we have 90° angle that means that side opposite of it is hypotenuse, so it goes:

a=10cm b=6 c=?


{a}^(2) = {b}^(2) + {c}^(2)


{10}^(2) = {6}^(2) + {c}^(2) \\ \\ 100 = 36 + {c}^(2) \\ \\ {c}^(2) = 100 - 36 \\ \\ {c}^(2) = 64 \\ c = √(64) \\ c =8
