Answer:

B. 2/x

Explanation:

((x^(2))/(x+2) )/((x^(3))/(2x+4) ) Fraction is to divide

= (x^(2))/(x+2) / (x^(3))/(2x+4) Dividing fraction is multiplying the second one flipped top/bottom

Cancel out the diagonals

= (x^(2))/(x+2) X (2x+4)/(x^(3)) Divide x² and x³ by x²

= (1)/(x+2) X (2x+4)/(x) Factor out 2x+4

= (1)/(x+2) X (2(x+2))/(x) Divide x+2 and 2(x+2) by x+2

= (1)/(1) X (2)/(x) 1/1 is the same as 1

= 1 X (2)/(x) 1 times any number is the other number

= (2)/(x)

The simplified fraction is 2/x.
