Explanation:

To be perpinducular, it has to have the same slope

y=-1/2x+?

1=-1/2(3)+?

1=1.5+?

?=-0.5

CHECK

y=-1/2x+-0.5

1=-1/2(3)+-0.5

1=1.5-0.5

1=1
